BIO

Donna F. Gray has a diverse artistic background, starting as an exchange student at The Cooper Union in New York, then graduating cum laude from the Maryland Institute College of Art. Following graduation, she became the Artist In Residence at the U.S. Virgin Islands Public Schools, where under a grant from The National Endowment of the Arts, she designed, coordinated and presented a series of workshops on paper arts to grades K-12. She has worked as an art teacher at St Patrick’s school in the Virgin Islands as well as at The Ivy House in Philadelphia. She created community park murals in Philadelphia and has provided cover illustrations for a number of books. She has had exhibitions at Lord Fairfax Community College, Dancing Fire Gallery, Jubilee Gallery, District West Gallery and Burwell-Morgan Mill. She also served as the Special Events Coordinator at The Decker Gallery, assisting the gallery in one-man shows and opening events schedules.
